Ana Sagar Lake

Ana Sagar Lake is an artificial lake situated in the city of Ajmer, Rajasthan. It was built by Anaji Chauhan, the grandfather of Prithvi Raj Chauhan, in 1135 -1150 AD and is named after him. He built the landscape for the better cause of the society. Daulat Bagh, a garden laid out by Emperor Jahangar. Emperor Shah Jahan later added five pavilions, known as the Baradari, between the garden and the lake. The lake is spread over 13 Kilometers. There is a Circuit house on a hill near the lake that used to be British Residency. This is one of the beautiful lake in India.

Shimmering like an illusion in this oasis city, it’s water light up at the night, reflecting the fluorescents of the city.
