Indian Egret

Portrays an Indian(Cattle) Egret bird with some wild plants.
Cattle Egret Birds are generally found near the water bodies in Indian state of Rajasthan. In the monsoon time these Egret birds are commonly found in the village regions of Rajasthan near the cattle like buffalows, cows, etc. The cattle egret(Bubulcus ibis) is a cosmopolitan species of heron. It has a relatively short thick neck, a sturdy bill, and a hunched posture. The non-breeding adult has mainly white plumage, a yellow bill and greyish-yellow legs. These birds are originally native to parts of Asia, Africa and Europe.

  1. Nice shot. We have egrets in the San Francisco area but they aren't associated with cattle.
