The door sills brings out the nostalgic memories like a father coming home or a group of kids playing over it or the bride entering home for the first time. The Classic lintel over the wooden door has a very unique and beautiful concept. The old windows having crossed 'Jalis' are made up of artwork of stones. The carving over the building is very different and ornamental. Of course the modern architecture has better technology and facilities than the ancient times, but still the passion towards the art is incomparable of old masonry. Especially in the city of Jodhpur where houses are mostly built of Jodhpur sandstone instead of regular bricks which gives them an immense look to the eyes.
